mine at last!

I've coveted these bad boys since I first saw them months ago, but at a whopping $225, I just couldn't justify laying down that kind of cash for ballet flats; Halston or not. But as it turns out, patience is in fact a virtue, because the other day I scored these little lovelies for a mere $85!! Let's just say I'm a very, very happy girl...

the mister...

Having debuted myself last week for all of you to see, my boyfriend got a little jealous... Why shouldn't his style be featured on the blog as well, he queried? Why not indeed! Not only does he have great personal style, but his wardrobe consists of some seriously enviable goods... Let's just say I've been known to raid his closet from time to time! He's my favourite shopping/thrifting partner, and now he's well on his way to becoming my favourite blog subject to boot... So without further ado, I present to you my better half, Mr. AIF!

there's an "i" in fashion...

This is certainly a first for me... I've struggled with whether or not to include photos of myself on AIF from day one, and although I love looking at other people's personal style photos, the thought of exposing myself to the blogosphere felt, in a word, scary. So after months of consideration, I decided to take the plunge and just go for it... eek!

With only an iphone, a good friend, and some major uneasiness regarding the task ahead, I set off to one of my favourite cemeteries to see what would transpire... and although this is a far cry from where I would like my personal style photos to someday be (next time I'll actually plan an outfit ahead of time!), it turned out to be a somewhat decent first attempt... I hope you all agree!

cute girl alert!

How adorable does This Time Tomorrow's Krystal look in this little summery getup?! I'm loving her vintage Levi cut offs paired with a Kimchi Blue floral top, not to mention those accessories of hers which totally complete the look (hello, vintage riding boots much?). All in all, genius...

The Glamourai for Twelve by Twelve

The Glamourai's Kelly is one of my favourite ladies in fashion... Her blog, complete with amazing accessories, daring print combinations and whimsical musings, serves as a daily source of inspiration... not to mention her amazing jewelry line and killer collaborations (hello, Coach?!). Her latest tour de force is a collab with Twelve by Twelve on their Summer campaign... and if that weren't exciting enough, little miss Glamourai got to star in the shoot herself! Oh Kelly, you are my hero...

outfit envy...

I'm loving this outfit for its "effortless cool" factor, as though it was thrown together in a mere moments notice. Those Gina Tricot leggings are seriously unreal, and when paired with an oversize tank and cowboy boots, a certain "young Hollywood" vibe transpires... especially when her ridiculously amazing Givenchy bag is considered. All in all, this outfit has all the makings for an impossibly rad model off duty look... wouldn't you say?
