Yesterday Mr. AIF and I went to the Farmer's Market to stock up on veggies for the week ahead. We had so much fun walking around sampling everything from dips to baked goods and back... Even a mini pumpkin cupcake! Yum yum.
What did you guys get up to? Until next time, lovelies! xx

Is it just me, or does it look like I'm about to go ride a horse or something? Preppy layers and riding boots conspired to create an equestrian look that I was unaware of until I wrote this post... Sneaky sneaky!

Have you guys heard of T-Post? If not, brace yourselves... You see my friends, T-Post is a "wearable magazine," meaning subscribers get a new t-shirt every month that has a printed news story on the inside, and a graphic interpretation of that story on the outside... Pretty cool, huh?
When they contacted me I was super stoked on the idea, and the fashion-loving journalist inside desperately wished I had thought of this first, but that's neither here nor there... But seriously, why didn't I think of this?!! It's brilliant! *sigh*
Anyway, my "issue"featured a story about the Komen Foundation and how they claim to own the phrase "for the cure," as well as use of the color pink, which have become synonymous with their breast cancer campaign. Apparently they're suing other charitable organizations over trademark infringement and whatnot... Go figure.
To check out previous issues, or to get a sense of the T-Post aesthetic, click here... This one's definitely my favorite! Happy Wednesday, my sweets! xx
If you're anything like me, you like to get the most possible mileage out of your clothes... Call me crazy, but I see no reason not to don a summery little floral number in mid October! Especially when such marvels as cardigans and tights are available to transition a piece from one season to the next. Just saying.
Sometimes there's nothing better than throwing on a cozy vest, some comfy boots and going for a stroll... Add a Pumpkin Spice Latte to the mix, and you've got yourself a rocking Sunday afternoon!
These photos portray just that (minus the Starbucks, unfortunately). They were taken on Canadian Thanksgiving Sunday a couple of weekends back, when Mr. AIF and I explored the river valley before returning home to make ham (for him), nut loaf (for me) and all the fixings in between.... It was perfect.
Man, why can't everyday be Sunday? xx

So you know how I painted one of my necklaces with nail polish a little while ago? Well my friends, it's official: I'm now hopelessly addicted to lacquering anything and everything I can get my hands on... Inexpensive jewelry of the world beware!
I found a set of rhinestone stacking rings at H&M on sale for $2 a little while ago and practically squealed at the thought of Tom Binns-ing them up... What, that's totally a verb, right?
To me, this dress (last seen here and here) just screams Christmas... I mean come on, red plaid? It's undeniably festive. So when I wore it to a farmers market one crisp fall day, I couldn't help but think of all the upcoming yule-related cheer. Slightly premature? Yes, but fun all the same...
